AXO started with one complaint: everything available locally was thin. Sweatshirts that went translucent after three washes. Caps that lost their shape by the second week. Beanies that stretched out and never came back.

So we went the other way. Heavier terry than anyone thought necessary. Denser knits. Acetate instead of injection-moulded plastic. Everything cut, dyed and finished here in Lagos, in runs small enough that we still check pieces by hand.

The point was never for it to sit in a wardrobe looking new. The point is that it gets worn — hard, constantly, for years — and holds.
