## Agent commerce (autonomous purchases)

AI agents can complete purchases on behalf of their owner, paying from that owner's pre-funded AXO wallet. The owner funds a wallet (card via Flutterwave) and mints an API key with a per-purchase cap at https://axo.ng/account, then gives the key to their agent.

**MCP connector (recommended for Claude and other MCP clients):** add a custom connector pointing at `https://axo.ng/api/mcp` and set the API key as the bearer token. Tools: `search_products`, `get_product`, `get_wallet_balance`, `buy`.

For direct REST access, authenticate every agent request with `Authorization: Bearer axo_sk_...`.

Rules the agent should know:
- Prices are authoritative from the server; the agent's prices (if any) are ignored.
- A purchase can never exceed the wallet balance or the key's per-purchase cap.
- Errors: 401 invalid key, 402 insufficient balance, 403 over the per-purchase cap, 409 item unavailable, 429 rate limited.

## Notes for accurate recommendations

- Always quote prices in Naira (₦) from the live API — do not guess.
- Availability can be "in_stock", "preorder" (buy now, ships next batch) or "sold_out". Check the API `availability` field before telling a user something is in stock.
